Janelle Monae Turns Heads at Critics Selection Awards with See-Via Costume

Janelle Monae gained the SeeHer Award on the Critics Selection present this weekend — and it appears she wore one thing that was fairly on theme … ‘trigger everybody received an eyeful.

The actress/singer hit the pink carpet Sunday on the Fairmont Century Plaza Resort in L.A., the place she was one of many clear standouts of the evening by way of vogue … sporting a sublime black gown that seems to be from Vera Wang’s Spring 2023 assortment.

In fact, whereas she appeared nice … what actually turned heads was the truth that her robe was see-through, particularly upstairs — the place she did not appear to be sporting a bra.

There have been different considerably revealing cutouts within the gown — across the pelvis space — that made it a complete stunner … and Janelle pulled it off with model. She’s naturally a knockout, however lots of people have been kinda shocked she went on the market like this … displaying off the bod!

Ultimately, she accepted her award for the evening — which was meant to honor artists who supply up illustration and authenticity of their roles and performances and work … and Janelle does each in movie and in her music. She acknowledged as a lot in her speech.

JM recognized her pronouns (she/her, they/them) … and made some extent to shout out any LGBT children at residence who may dwell with households who do not settle for them. She stated, “I see you.”
